    • About Me

I suffer from fibromyalgia, CFS, Osteoporosis, Epstein-Barr Virus, and high blood pressure. UPDATE: Unfortunately, I was recently diagnosed with Meniere's Disease and Lyme Disease. My physician explained to me, that my health issues were related or caused by Lyme Disease. This disease has been left untreated, most of my life. Chances are slim that I will ever recover from this illness. I'm angry in a way, because I've had numerous tests for everything under the sun, on God's green EARTH, but not one person considered testing for Lyme. Finally a friend introduced me to my current physician! I am now being treated for Lyme. I am married to a wonderful man. We have one daughter. She attends college away from home. Having an empty nest isn't fun! We also have two cats, Prissy and Sassy. They are good girls most of the time! LOL Update: I recently added MollyBelle, to our family. She is a Mati-Tzu--3/4 Maltese and 1/4 Shih-Tzu! My occupation is that of a teacher. It is becoming more difficult physically and mentally to work. My students need me and I need them! Retirement is on the horizon---yikes!!! Update: I am now retired as March 27, 2009. I taught 26 years!

    • Miss You

      From FeelingRough September 30

Am glad you're able to recognize the poison ivy. . . I guess I forgot or took it for granted. Am all over it. I did have to go on prednisone because I puffed up. No choice. I explained to the doc that I have Lyme and it's a no no. She said I had no choice really -- from the looks of things I'd have been puffed up for a long time otherwise. By day three of the steroids, I was almost cured. I took 10 days of it to cure it all. There is still poison ivy out there. And this morning, my husband saw a red fox in the yard. Yesterday a big buck deer. We have a regular mutual of omaha here.

Anyways, hope you are well. Be sure and wear your gloves and rinse off after you garden! Also, if you can coax your hubby into doing it for you like me, all the better. My husband doesn't seem to be allergic...

I am sleeping better these days -- well most days -- and this helps everything.

Please check in and let me know how things are going.

      Cindy
