Newly diagnosed this year. Problems to date with bad leg pain, double vision, fatigue. Worried about the future, but trying daily to optimistic.
I've always been heavy, but have become especially so in the past few years because I take medications that cause weight gain and/or fat storage. My Dr. has suggested that lap banding could work for me - because I'm so upset about being this heavy, but I'm scared of what that will mean to the rest of my life. I'm hoping to make some friends and get some support from this DS community.
Have developed claudication in right leg - very painful and scary. Doing aqua therapy to try to lessen symptoms.
T2 or T1.5 for 20 years. Never controlled.
