So I bought this jump rope a few weeks ago.... it hung off my desk chair while I contemplated how to use the thing without hurting myself..lol. Well, last night I finally made up my mind to "try" it. I did pretty good, doing a few sets of 10. My heart was POUNDING! Then I bumped up the sets to 20, and did 4 before I stopped. I ended up exercising for around 20 minutes, which is more than I've done in a long time. I feel it in my legs today, but in a good way, like I've accomplished something. I think I'll do it again soon. If it's not raining when I get home I'd like to get the bike out. If it is raining I can take the rope into the garage, but the cement is a bit harsh on the joints. Maybe it's eliptical night.... we'll see.
Can't wait till it gets warm enough to open up the house & get all the stale air out. Almost time for spring cleaning (ugh). At least the refrigerator is already done! Maybe I will do one closet tonight to get started.
Been doing ok with food, but I need to watch my portion sizes better and drink more water. I just get busy and forget.... I know, weird. Well, back to work.... cassidy
