I see it has been almost six months since I posted in My Journal here. I had been doing pretty good. I took a 4000 mile road trip to Minnesota and Wisconsin to meet with my children and grandchildren and hold a Memorial Service for my husband in the church we belonged to for many years.
After I got back home I had knee replacement surgery on my right knee. The rehab for the knee was going along very well with lots of compliments from people about how well I was doing. The major problem was the difficulties I was having with my digestive system which I think were brought on by the pain medications I received after surgery.
My appetite would fluctuate and finally last Sunday I had constant pain the symptoms were just like the diverticulitis attacks I had two years ago. I had surgery to remove a portion of my colon and reattach it two years ago. The diagnosis was diverticulitis which is very disheartening as I had hoped those problems would be over after the surgery.
