Close Diverticulitis
Hospitalized in December and April with Diverrticulitis. Sigmoid colon removed in July and bowel reattached to large intestine. Colon scared so bad they could not do colonoscopy so had to have barium enema prior to surgery.
Treatments
- Cipro Working / Worked
- It knocked down the bacteria. Upsetting to digestive system.
- High Fiber Diet Somewhat Helpful
- Having difficulty getting enough fiber.
- Probiotics Working / Worked
- wanted to get intestinal flora back to normal as soon as possible so ate yogurt every day. Still about e times a week.
Close Bladder Cancer
My husband is the person with bladder cancer. First diagnosed with CIS in 2001, BCG treatment two rounds of 8 weeks each. Checked every 3 to 6 months. Had a small papillary tumor 2/07 but ureter wash showed suspicious cells. Uretescopy in March found CIS in both ureters and renal pelvis. Recommendation put in nephrostomy tubes and treat with BCG. Lung nodule biopsy in Sept. Lung tumor removed last month found transitional cell carcinoma which metastasized from the bladder.

Open Degenerative Joint Disease
I was diagnosed this week with degenerative joint disease. Knee Doctor said I am candidate for right knee replacement.
