In the beginning of 2006 i was in a tramatic car accident, puttin me into a coma for three months. I am currently in school right now for my associates degree even though i have a very useless bachelors degree. so im just here trying to figures things out and see tht im not the only one goin through all this mess

Close Brain Injury
In the beginning of 2006 I was in a terrible car accident, which put me in a coma for 3 months.
Treatments
- Surgery, Brain Working / Worked
- I got one a week b4 xmas which wasnt done properly, so i had excessive amt of fluid so i went back for another 1 2 days after xmas which workd very well and now no problems
Close Depression
In January of 06 I had a very serious car crash cuz I was drivin drunk, which caused a severe TBI, I have been fightin it ever since, cuz I am not the person I was before. I just feel i am inadequate and less of a man now.
Treatments
- Positive Thinking Somewhat Helpful
- Im tryin to focus on the bright parts in my life. and stop focusin on the negative aspects.
- Psychotherapy Somewhat Helpful
- My councelor is allowin me to see some of my problems and work them out.
- Support from Friends & Family Considering
- Most of my friends dont no Im dealin with this cuz I am too embarrassed to tell em.
- Writing Somewhat Helpful
- Its been very helpful even tho I dont do too many journals, I never really liked doin them but they allow me to help really se my frustrations
Open Alcoholism
in january of 2006 i was in a very bad car crash cuz i was driving very drunk. i always went out drinkin with friends people believed i was an alcoholic. but i never thot i was, but am now realizin tht i am nd cant handle alcohol nd its effects.
Treatments
- AA Meetings Working / Worked
- pretty successful at first then stopped goin to classes. have recently stopped again with the support of my girlfriend nd friends
Open Anger Management
i have jus had several outbursts where i have jus lost control. i used to be able to control my anger but now wit my brain injury it is harder for me to control.
