I wanted to let everyone know that I am doing really good as far as the pain level. The hardest part for me is staying down and taking it easy. But the dr prescibed me some Zanax and that helps cause I overdo it. often. I just do not like to sit still. I did get good news on my 4 week post op my dr released me to drive just not too far and listen to my body. yeah... I went home and tried to drive and I made it 2 blocks and went back home it hurts to turn and put on the brake. I would do ok if everyone else on the road would get out of my way. lol lol
anyway I am so happy I got the hysterectomy I really think it may be my answer to all my medical issues.. I hope I am not sitting myself up for big dissappointment. But I will not know until my recovery is complete. But I feel a lot better mentally since my surgery... so if you are debating on having the hysterectomy I would strongly recommend it, but make sure you find a great dr... If I had to do it again I would look at a surgeon instead of a gyn dr. Not that my dr was bad or anything but I think surgeons are better equipped in case something is complicated. But do not get me wrong my dr was great.
My son has been great he has helped me out so much. He really has shown me how grown up he is and how responsible he is... makes me very proud.
