Close Crohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis
Back in September of 07 i became really ill. Took several doctors and tests to tell me i have Crohns...what a shocker that was!! But, relief that i knew what was wrong. Had Surgery in October...have been in remission since.THank the Lord!!
Treatments
- Asacol Not Working
- PENTASA...it didn't work. but, i wasn't on it very long...too soon to tell really.
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Somewhat Helpful
- I've found that i can't eat sugars, caffiene, fruit juices -orange #1, too much dairy, or too much fried foods...goes right through me and makes my tummy gurgle(yuck)
- Cipro Not Working
- another antibiotic that didn't work.
- Flagyl Working / Worked
- been on it twice. worked...no side effects really.
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- yes it worked..got bad breakouts on my chin area on face though.
- Surgery Working / Worked
- I've been pain free for 7 months now!!

Open Gallstones
Well lets see...about 4 months ago is when it started. Stomach started hurting when i would eat certain foods or drinks. Then it became worse...i couldn't drink or eat anything. Lots of pain. Found out i do have a gall stone. Doctor won't do anything about it right now cause he is more concerned about my Crohns. UPDATE..Got my gall bladder removed on february 6th. I'm feeling better than ever. I can finally eat whatever i want with out my stomach hurting.(well almost anything)
Open Cervical Cancer
Had a pap come back abnormal. Had the colposcopy done and doctor told me i was stage 3 displacia. Had a leep done back in May 2007. Very fast procedure and life saving.

- for some women it was a little painful but i experienced nothing. took about 20 min.
- LEEP Working / Worked
- Fast procedure and no pain at all!
