I’m With You
I know how hard it is to find out youve contracted HPV, I just found out a few weeks ago. People on DS are really helpful and try their best to answer any questions you have. We've all been through what youre going through, so don't hesitate to talk or ask questions or whatever. We're all friends here and everyone is really nice. It's a shock at first but things get better. Just think, we could have AIDS, but instead we have a very treatable STD. Do you know what strain you have? Does it cause genital warts or cervical cancer or have you shown any signs? Just give it some time for the shock to wear off and hopefully you'll feel better! We're all rooting for you! :)

I was diagnosed 10 years ago with cervical cancer due to hpv. I thought that I didn't have the type of hpv that would produce actual warts but just a week ago I was diagnosed with a wart. It feels like I am finding out all over again. It was devastating. I guess after 1o years I thought I was in the clear. I feel sick and gross and diseased. I got HPV from my very first sexual partner. I understand what you are going through. at this point all we can do is try to learn about it and how to live with it. I was in a bad situation in march. I got checked, but there was nothing there, i went to the doctor 10/8/07, and i was diagnosed with HPV. I always thought it would be some one else... bit now its me.

- the first day i used it, the itching didnt go away right away, i am 4 hours into the 8 hr treatment and it still itches.
Close Painful Intercourse
HPV... my cervix actually started bleeding when the doctor did swabs for the pap smear. HELP
