I'm a stay at home mom, taking care of my daughter and step son. I'm hoping to one day be able to get stable and pursue a career as a physical therapist. I'm starting school this month, in 2 days, actually! ;) I'm taking abnormal psych, ha! I figure that maybe I'll have an insiders view and do really well!

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding Feather, that's great.I love dogs, they bring such joy, best of luck. Glad to hear the kids are fabulous. Everything here is fine too. Looking forward to spending the summer with my daughters once college is through next month. :)

Close Bipolar Disorder
I recently was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder II. I was scared to death to learn about it, until now. I want to learn how to deal with it more effectively and how to help others help me.
Treatments
- Ativan Not Working
- Just made me really sleepy, so I just wanted to sleep all day!
- Lamictal Too Soon to Tell
- Just got prescribed Lamictal, waiting on insurance authorization to start it!
- Seroquel Not Working
- It was working, but doesn't seem to be working anymore, visit a new doctor on Wednesday.
- Zyprexa Not Working
- I wanted to sleep all day long, so it made me more irritable
- Lexapro Not Working
Close Depression
Treatments
- Lexapro Somewhat Helpful
- Doc is weaning me off of it because of undesired side effects.
Open Physical & Emotional Abuse
I was in an abusive relationship for about 4 years and am just now seeking help for the years of torment.

- I was married to the fucker, so I divorced him, and it stopped the abuse!
