Well here I am 4.57 in the morning and at work, things haven't been too great tonight. Have been in a nice easy unit, however at 10.50pm the shift leader caught me asleep (meant to stay awake all night). Hopefully she won't report me for it !
I've been surviving this week on 5 hours sleep a day, I can get to sleep but not stay asleep, after 5 hours I'm awake !!!!
Can't go back on the sleeping meds I was on 10 years ago, as they aren't safe in pregnancy and we are going to try and get pregnant in December.
My anti-depressants were controlling my sleep, but now I'm coming off them (again to get pregnant) my sleep problems are coming back.
Oh well, will find out tomorrow whether she has reported me or not.

How did you do with your supervisor? I know how it is to work all night on very little sleep. It is difficult. I work for about 25 years on the night shift and have fallen asleep for brief moments. Maybe you can get a little sleep on your lunch break. That is what I use to do and several others I worked with.
