I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a manager. And the role I most love and that which has taught me so much about life, is that of being a mother. I wouldn't give that one up for anything. And I must say that being married to the same man for 23 years has to be up there with being a mom. We have had a most enriching marriage, one that has never been dull and still finds us holding hands. I find that because we have only one child, we are very closely knit and share so much together. And we also have a dog who is definitely a major part of our family.

I'm so glad you already have a plan in motion! Sounds like you are off to a great start! I know this website is so in depth, so if you get lost, just feel free to message me with your Monday results, and I'll make sure it gets posted. Usually it takes a day or so to collect everyone's data, and then I publicly reconize (all those who lost weight that week), together on the "Who wants to join me?" posting. First thing in the morning, I will journal what I plan to do that day to reach my goal, and then in the evening, what actually happened that day! WEIGH-IN is EVERY Monday morning! I will post my weekly and cumulative weight difference (+/-) every Monday morning at the same discussion site called: Who wants to join me?" You may choose also to do that—and we can challenge, cheer and encourage each other along!

My weight is the story of my life. And lately I have been working on changing that. I don't want to leave this world thinking about my pant's size; I want to go out thinking that my life been about sharing the true me, not the me that has always hidden behind my weight.
My husband is a diabetic and I just want to support him by knowing as much as I can about what he should eat.
