    • About Me

      I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a manager. And the role I most love and that which has taught me so much about life, is that of being a mother. I wouldn't give that one up for anything. And I must say that being married to the same man for 23 years has to be up there with being a mom. We have had a most enriching marriage, one that has never been dull and still finds us holding hands. I find that because we have only one child, we are very closely knit and share so much together. And we also have a dog who is definitely a major part of our family.

      I'm so glad you already have a plan in motion! Sounds like you are off to a great start! I know this website is so in depth, so if you get lost, just feel free to message me with your Monday results, and I'll make sure it gets posted. Usually it takes a day or so to collect everyone's data, and then I publicly reconize (all those who lost weight that week), together on the "Who wants to join me?" posting. That make sense? :) Be strong, and finish off this week well-- and know that we're here to help you, when you're not feeling so strong! Hugs to you!

      Welcome to Our Weight Loss Adventure! We are in this together! Here's a BIG Welcome Hug to you! Let's do this thing! So here is my plan: The Plan… Breakfast: Protein meal replacement shake Lunch: Protein meal replacement shake Supper: One lean meat and 2 colorful vegetables Lots of water Lots of lean protein snacks No food after 6pm Exercise *Weight training M,W,Fri *20minutes cardio T,Th, Sat, *increased intensity everyday Liquid Cleanse: once a month I will post twice a day, in my JOURNAL. First thing in the morning, I will journal what I plan to do that day to reach my goal, and then in the evening, what actually happened that day! WEIGH-IN is EVERY Monday morning! I will post my weekly and cumulative weight difference (+/-) every Monday morning at the same discussion site called: Who wants to join me?" You may choose also to do that—and we can challenge, cheer and encourage each other along!

      My weight is the story of my life. And lately I have been working on changing that. I don't want to leave this world thinking about my pant's size; I want to go out thinking that my life been about sharing the true me, not the me that has always hidden behind my weight.

      Treatments

      Counting Calories Working / Worked
      What I find really works about counting calories, is that you really become conscious of what you are putting in your mouth. I couldn't believe how much I was eating before I started counting.
      Physical Exercise Working / Worked
      My husband gave me the best Xmas present ever - an appointment with a personal trainor. I have now been working with him for 3 months, twice a week and it has made an incredible difference. I have lost inches and my self-esteem has really soared. If I don't want to, I have to cause he is always at my house, rain or shine on Tuesday and Friday mornings. On alternate days, I walk with my best friend.
      Weight Watchers Somewhat Helpful
      Tried it so many times and lost and gained weight back. Amazing diet to follow but there is no support other than weekly meetings. For WW to be successful, it would have to have more of an interim support system for its members.

      My husband is a diabetic and I just want to support him by knowing as much as I can about what he should eat.
