My husband and I have been married for 7 years and we have two beautiful boys, 5 and 3 1/2 years old. They are such blessings. We have always wanted to have 4 children which is why we started trying for number 3 in the summer of '06. We never found the cause of our 4 m/c's but after a laparascopy, we had a very healthy 9 lb 14 oz baby girl at 38 weeks!

Cute new pics! The kids are getting so big. I hope you're all doing well. Haven't been on much nor seen you on much. I guess we're all so busy these days. Have a wonderful week & Thanksgiving holiday as well. Be blessed. Love & Hugs
Thanks for your second response, too! I may try shortening our nap routine a few minutes and see if that helps. The aquarium in his crib can have both swimming fish and bubbling sounds or just the sounds, so I might try just the sounds and see what happens. I've also tried putting him down without the aquarium at all - it gradually turns off over about 20 minutes, so I wondered if that was part of his 30 minute wake up...but it doesn't seem to matter whether it's off or on. I've noticed that he wakes up when we're in the car after 30 minutes, too but he'll go back to sleep there. I know it's just his first sleep cycle and he can't get past it and get back to sleep, but I'm not sure how to help him. My plan at this point is to at least get him back to go down for naps easier - I don't mind a few minutes of fussing, but more than 30 minutes of crying before a nap seems like to much to me!! Then once we get that issue solved, I might try letting him cry himself back to sleep when he wakes after that 30 minute cycle. I've read that other babies have just gradually started taking longer naps on their own, so I'm going to cross my fingers that Jonah will do it, too!! Thanks for your help today - it's been a rough week. It's amazing how a rough naptime can make our whole day miserable!
Thanks for your comment on my journal - I posted another follow-up response after your comment.

I found out I lost our 1st at 13w4d-lost earlier than that-at a routine check up-no heartbeat. Had D&E. 4mo. later I was pg again but at 7w3d I found out it was a blighted ovum & pills were used to start the m/c process. We have 2 sons that were perfectly healthy pregnancies after getting pg. the 1st mo. trying for each, the drs. say these 2 were just a #s thing. I hope so, but it seems strange to me. Add missed m/c #3 to list-bl.ovum again:( Add #4 to list-chem. preg. this time :(
I am currently 12 weeks pregnant and due on March 26th. This is my 7th pregnancy, but will be my 3rd earthly child if all goes well!
I have 2 healthy sons who were 1st try pregnancies each time & when we tried for #3, we have had 4 m/c's in the last year & a 1/2. One was at 13.5 wks after hearing heartbeat, then 2 blighted ovums at 7.5 wks & this last one was a chemical pregnancy. Lots of testing done & all is "normal" exc. low prog. levels-took prometrium.
I am currently 32 weeks pregnant and I have two boys already (ages 5 and 3 1/2).
