Close Fibromyalgia
i am almost 50 & for the past year or so i have had chronic pain worseneing to the point i visited dr who diagnosed me 2 months ago, she put me on an antidepressant that would ease pain, or so she said, it hasn't, does help me to sleep more that 2-3 hours at a time but i feel like a zombie all of the time & hurt even when air from a fan or vent hits my skin, too tired to even stand long enough to shower & had to get chair for bath tub, can hardly even carry a purse and am limited on driving .
Treatments
- Elavil Too Soon to Tell
- only been on it 6 weeks, helped me sleep longer but makes me groggy
- Elavil Working / Worked
- i don't believe i am depressed and the Elavil is antidepressant that i was told would help pain. i hurt constantly & if i have a ( seldom ) good day, and try to do normal things such as gardening, or cooking a meal, then i end up paying for it for 3-4 days almost flat on my back with pain also frustrated i cannot do things i could do 6 -12 months ago
Close Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
my son has dvt, been hospitalized 3X & has only just turned 20. still we have been given no diagnosis as to its cause.
