Slowmoving's Journal

Sometimes I feel like praying in my journal- I am not trying to push my religion on anyone - this is for me- I guess that's why it's called "my journal". This is for times when I'm tired.....Dear Jesus, lay your wounded Hand upon my my weary head, and teach me to have the courage in the paths that I must tread. Bless me, and bless those whom I love, and give us grace to see these crosses bravely borne by us will keep us close to Thee. And if at times a shadow falls in unexpected ways, put your gentle Hand in mine and guide me through the days. So bless my people, one and al, with Thy protecting grace, and impact to Thy Wisdom ere they meet Thee face to face. Amen.

I have so many health issues that deal with pain, but my 2 best friends are both battleing cancer. It's strange when we all 3 worked at the same school for years. 1 has chronic leukemia and the other one has another form of leukemia. She is on her 3rd round of bone marrow transplants and has 2 more to go. There are others of us who has have to quit and are on disability or disability retirement. Could stress or something else in this building cause all these different illnessess. we all dealt with special education. My #2 mom has always said there are no such things as coincedences.  Maybe the stress weakened our immune systems and allowed other illnesses to follow???
