My partner and Mother of my 4 kids got an eviction notice, its been our home for 17 years. My son used the address for his mail and stayed for a while and didn't inform the authorities 2 years ago. I didn't know anything until 3 days ago when i opened her mail and saw EVICTION written i large black letters. She thought it would go away on its own maybe dur.

We have had a rocky on and off relationship for 25 years but i decided to commit to the relationship a year or two ago, things seemed to be going well but this sort of thing happens year after year, i told her the last time i would leave if anything like this happened again, i will go another extra mile ! I was always good at long distance running lol.

I've lived in my flat for the majority of the 25 years because of my drink problem and we weren't compatible, she has lived at the house, it's a weired setup but its worked especially for the kids. 

We got advice from Shelter and have to fill out forms to appeal on Tuesday, she is supposed to be out on the 21st, she has had 2 years to pay and warnings which she said she didn't receive. We found out yesterday that if we pay the outstanding £1150 plus court costs of £150 that she can keep the the house, phew. I really dont want to do it but im going to have to ask my mum if i can borrow the money. Yes i know i should go and get a job & £££ but, im terrified of mixing with people still without a drink or something so ! When this stuff is sorted then i will work on work.

We are still waiting for her cancer results, she had an op to remove the cancer and we should of had them 2 weeks ago, hopefully she will be given the all clear soon.

Hopefully we will keep the family home, we will have to knuckle down for a year or two to pay off the arrears.

Thanks to DS and IM friends, 2 in particular and a few friends/neighbours, i have managed to stay sober, for my kids for my partner and myself :o)
