Close Ovarian Cancer
Took 6 GPs & 3 mnths of pestering my GP, finally diagnosed by Locum Gp who didnt have my notes & finally examined me! I was 19(1989)& GP had misdiagnosed with IBD. Surgery to remove ovary,tube & 8 3day chemo sess followed. Was told I'd never had kids ,in 2005 gave birth to my little girl(conceived naturally!)Never offered counselling. Only recently realised "love those close to you, as money can make life easier but love makes it worthwhile".
Treatments
- Chemotherapy Working / Worked
- Worked. Obvious nausea and dramatic weight and hair loss. Didn't sleep for 4 months.
