I am a 32 year old nursing student and the mother of 2 wonderful children. My boyfriend has 2 children also so I have a very busy house. I recently had a total hysterectomy and am having a hard time dealing with everything.

I love Basset Hounds and well dogs in general. I watch a lot of movies and spend a lot of time on the internet. I enjoy playing poker online. My favorite time is spent with my family especially my children. I love going to nursing school and hope to graduate soon :)

Hope you're doing better. May 18th, we go down to the Detroit area for the annual Basset Waddle. Over 500 basset hounds, can you imagine, will be in parade and have a picnic. Is a fundraiser for the Basset Rescue. Hugs...

Close Hysterectomy
I had a total hysterectomy 2 weeks ago. I went to my OBGYN at 9am and was having emergency surgery at 4. Not a lot of time to think. I'm very scared and emotional. I also had to drop out of nursing school. I would have graduated in December. I cry a lot and feel pretty empty and lonely. My mom suggested I try to find a support group.

Open Skin Cancer
Type: Basil Cell CacinomaI found a spot on my chest last year that I didn't like. I had a biopsy and sure enough it was Basal cell carcinoma. The Dr. froze the area and I just hope that it is all gone.
Open College Stress
I'm a nursing student. I was in my last semester set to graduate in Dec only 3 tests and 1 final & I would be done. Then I had a medical emergency. I had a total hysterectomy on 9/21. The college made me withdraw and put me on a waiting list to get back in maybe in the spring if not I have to wait till next fall. So unfair. Also, they gave me the news that I could no longer be an evenight student & I need to change my whole life around for day classes that I may or maynot get into.
