My son-in-law sells all kinds of crap, yes that's what I call it. It amazes me what people will buy. When I was very ill, from chemo, Bob used to stay up nights and buy stuff, so he was distracted from me. I know now when he is worried about me, if I see the UPS man at my door, with stuff he has bought. I have all the watches, crystal, and extra plates from my good set, that a girl could ever want. But it was good therapy for him.Wishing you all the success in this new venture. Who knows maybe Bob will end up buting some of your stuff. Wouldn't that be a hoot! What exactly are you selling? Mary

Brilliant..... He sounds so wonderful.... why doesn't that surprise me???
We went through 37 years stuff in the attic along with all my early creative/business bits and dregs... Loads of costume and ethnic jewellery bits.. I made lots of hats... toys when the kids were little... gathered lots of fabrics... craft bits... collectables... hubby liked to gather books and curios.. I've done loads of things over the years and stuffed them into cupboards and into the attic when I have had enough...
Then there is my mother's stuff.. Through her marriage to Allastair, who was in the diplomatic service, she has travelled the world buying everything that she thought would be... either very beautiful, or just a great bargain... she was a massive hoarder and when she didn't have the room she would charge me with it's care.. which used to drive me up the wall at times.. as room was tight with our own junk and three small children plus all their friends.. and whatever business I happened to be running from the cottage to boot...
So a big muddle that I have been sorting through.. I've been having a big push at the mo.. because I am home and I wanted it all done before the chemo started.. but it's getting there...
Allastair is selling their house and moving to The Borders.. He doesn't want to take any furniture not any of her treasures with him.. so that is another project that I would like to tackle whilst I am unable to work..
We shall see... $4.... eh.. not to be sneered at... xxxxxx

Sorry I haven't been here for a couple of days... been feeling rough all of a sudden... and on the settee trying to stay patient and think of what I might be able to eat or even drink one day... Lots to tell you about still.. just too yucky for a bit... Waiting to hear from Doug as to whether I can post a photo or a video.. as I have a video... DS are taking forever over this... Not up to much but will be again soon... loving hugs to all of you ... guess what,.. my hair is growing... eh????? They gave me twice as much steroids as they were supposed to by mistake and strange things have been happening... ah well... soon be over it.. xxxxxx
