Still in London and continuing to party.. Ella and I were out and about all day and ended up in the West End this evening in China Town eating a fabulous meal.. We caught a 19 bus back to Chelsea and I made a video, which I will try to post here when I get back home, to show my friends what to expect when they come and visit.. We were discussing what all the best places in London would be to show off.. and I have it planned.. Most of it is in quite a tight area and has to be seen from the top of a good old London bus.. Buckingham palace.. Big Ben... Houses of Parliament.. Picadilly Circus.. Trafalgar Square.. Westminster Abbey.. Oxford Street.. Kings Road.. plus a whole load more can all be seen from a number 11 and 19 bus.. and we can hop on and off to get a closer look.. The Queen has been encouraging visitors with an exhibition at her London pad of gifts she has recieved throughout her long career.. China Town is a must in the evenings as it stays open very late with so much to see, do and eat.. I would end the evening at The Comedy Club, in Picadilly, where all our best comedians cut their teeth.. Then there are museums and art galeries very close by.. and then a trip on a boat, along the Thames, to The Tower of London.. with all it's gory history..
I managed to speak to Clive today and he has enjoyed his time at the cottage.. I am so relieved as no one had heard from him here and he wasn't answering the phone unless he recognised the number.. a bit confusing and I was a bit worried.. I had asked Louisa to do some cleaning there and to keep an eye on him whilst I was away.. but for some inexplicable reason Bonny had told her that wouldn't be necessary !!!.. Kids hey !!!..
I'm feeling good today and will phone Monica tomorrow to see if it's practical to see her.. it would be fun.. whilst all is fresh in my mind, to share it with her.. I will hang out in London till after my appt.. on Tuesday.. then back to Bath where I will probably spend a couple of days in town catching up with friends and family before finally going home..
I'm missing my friends over the pond.. but, with this site, it doesn't feel like we are so far away.. also I saw an advert for flights to New York for £159.. which is ridiculously cheap.. and possible.. I will have so much to do when I get home.. sorting out the photos and videos I've taken.. so I will be posting more about the trip then.. I have gained so much from my time there that it will take some time for it all to sink in.. but it aint over yet and I am very inspired and motivated in several new directions.. so lots to follow.. when I'm settled and cosy at home again.. Clive said that he told his family he is moving in with me.. I'm pretty sure he was joking... Yikes !!! I do have a great house sitter though and can feel more relaxed about going places.. I think a trip to Scotland will be next on the agenda.. to see Alastair in his new home..
I forgot to mention that on the plane back to the Uk.. they forgot to order me a vegie meal.. I had a copy of an email saying it had been ordered.. so they were very appologetic and gave me a free bottle of wine.. which I drank quickly thinking it would help me to sleep.. just as I was dozing they produced an amazing meal from the 1st class menu.. a very simple assortment of vegetables.. but cooked in a way that they were totally delicious.. with mashed potatos like I'd never tasted before.. and a proper mug of English tea.. which I managed to spill all over my new jeans.. there was nothing to change into.. so the best I could do was to stuff tissues down my trouser legs and wait for it to dry out.. soooo yucky and uncomfortable.. but really the only thing that went wrong for me through out the entire adventure.. so I figured I'd done pretty well.. good thing there was no one sat next me.. or they would have been soaked too and I wouldn't have had two seats to streach out in.. I'm a very lucky girl.. with so many great memories and soooo very pleased and happy and proud of all us for making this possible.. I hope that everyone here gets the chance to visit eachother too.. It was so wonderful to realise how close we really and truly are here.. Meeting Beth, Michelle and Lindamae was like meeting the closes of old and familiar friends.. we are the best here.. Loads of love to you all.. xxx

Still partying?......Wow.....and why not I say.
I love Covent Garden....there's so much to see there and the entertainment is good. I've never been to China Town though, maybe next time I go there.
Glad Clive was looking after the cottage for you, especially with the crazy neighbour next-door. I'm looking forward to seeing some more of your photos.
Good to know you're back in the UK safe and sound, loads of love and hugs, Gill xxx
