Halli's Journal

I have some up dating to do here and so much to write about as well as pictures to post....  here goes..  I am actually at Lindamae's.. but have to go back a few days..

29th Sept....  A helicopter ride.. before breakfast with captain Craig.. loved it loads.. closer to the ground than the four seater plane..  I took loads of photos and even some videos.  it's going to take me some time, I think, to sort out the photos.. but had the best posible views of the neighbiourhood and I love flying in these amazing machines..  After breakfast Beth and I went to a fabulous spa and had an aroma therapy massage.  It was so luxurious and relaxing.. went on for ages and I felt so many benefits..  Loosened me up and released the tensions in my muscles..  I also had foot massage and a pedicure and have had No neuropathy since.. how great is that???  I would recomend it loads..  the aroma therapy has eased my breathing and I feel so well now that I can not remember how it was before..

We rushed home and had a snack of cold curry before setting of for a yoga class, which Beth's mom teaches, to a devoted following of lovely ladies..  I managed to keep up.. though it was challenging me and can not believe that I was able to do so much..  I really feel so much fitter now.. and want to build on that..  Back to Beth's with pizas and had a great piza night.. Beth's mom and dad were there too..  They are such a wonderful family and could not have made me feel more comfortable, relaxed and welcome.. I felt myself glowing with the sense that I am such a fortunate woman to have such wonderful friends..  Beth is such a great organizer and she and her family have made this adventure so great for me..  nothing is too much trouble.. and all is done with love and a great spirit..  I had some sad moments that night with the prospect of leaving the next day..  but cheered by the thought that we will meet up in Chicago for a night of fun before my flight home and also that she and Craig will be visiting me next year.. which isn't that far away...

I've got so much to catch up on here and it's going to take me a couple of days to do this.. I don't want to rush things and to miss out some of the great details..  this is the best trip ever and I won't do it or you guys justice if I try to rush it all.. so it's late I'm with lindamae and Mac and the luckiest person in the world just now..  Linda is about to go to bed.. she had her chemo yesterday and we have already had a great session in the kitchen..  Tomorrow I will have more time to do this journaling properly.. the train journey was out of this world.. we went through the Rockies..  I will chip away some more tomorrow...
