As promised.. here is the new (old) arm chair.. I'm not sure yet about the covers yet and will fiddle around with them for weeks to come.. no doubt.
Yesterday was an amazing ebay day, where I won a huge bookshelf and the artists chest I was after, both were less than I thought they would be for a change.. So I now have all the main items I was after and will miss searching and bidding for them. Perhaps it's time I began to sell some bits. Just don't want to start till I am sure I can follow through, so might be better when I've finished the chemo as there is so much to go.
I can get on with more organizing till then. Can't wait for the shelves to arrive now as they will help to sort out so much. 74'' wide and 56'' tall, with four glass doors to keep the dust off.. The artists chest is a good size.. not too big.. as most of them are. so very pleased with myself and the progress here.
The old arm chair has gone into a cosy corner in the big bedroom.. It's very comfortable and great for snuggling up with a book.. Can't see me using it very much as I like to read in bed.. but it will display some of my mother's beautiful fabrics.. still have to sort out which ones.. but geting there.. I think.. Maybe yellow and not blue.. hmmm

Bonny and Sol came over yesterday.. Poor babies were so tired from a crazy, busy week. They work one Saturday out of three now. We had some dinner, moved the chairs around and Bonny helped me with some computer stuff. She was going to stay but went home to Neil and to recover.
Today they were going to look at some Maltese puppies, but now can't decide whether to get a Springer Spaniel instead.. Whatever she decides I can't wait to look after it.. about time we had a new addition to the family.
Clive is coming tomorrow instead of today and I'm pleased to have another day to myself, as I am on a roll with sorting and don't need any distractions. I also have lots of meetings next week to prepare for and The Marsden to sort out..
They have muddled all my appts.. The scan which was meant to be this week is in June and no appt to see Prof. Gore either.. Also, they booked me into a private room again.. because they now think I am a private patient.. It's been booked incase we decide to carry on.. but the date is wrong anyway.. it's all a muddle.. bless em..
I got confused too, about my dates, and realise that I haven't done too badly, with the chemo this time, as it isn't even two weeks since I had it and I'm well into the recovery.
It's finally stopped raining today and the sun is out.. but still a bit cold and windy. The grass seems to need cutting twice a week at the mo with all the rain.. but will have to be done once a week.. Andy is extremely busy,as you can imagine so isnt' popping in so often.. great that he is busy though..
I realise I've been a bit whacky on here lately.. thinking I was well when I was pretty shot away most of the time.. I helps so much to have you here and to put up with me when I am being mad..
It's mid day now and I have been at this for ages.. so back to sorting.. Loads of love to everyone and hoping we all have a great Sunday... Loving hugs.. Inka xxx

Congrads about your purchases on eBay. Glad you are having good weather. It can't stop raining long enough for my hubby to mow the grass here. Good luck with sorting out the cottage. I know that can be like a full time job.

I love the chair. I am sure it adds a nice touch to your bedroom even if you don't use it. Sorting out can be a big job, but you will feel so good when you are done. Please rest and take care of yourself though.

Your new chair looks to cozy to curl up with a good book and relax. I can see why you were concerned about getting it through the door. Your garden is beautiful also. Soon you will be done with your treatment and full of energy. Have a great session with your healer.....Love and hugs...Beth

My aunt from Australia just called.. she is 85 and quite on her own out there. Like her niece she lives in a remote location.. only close to a beach.. and she is having problems driving.. I think I will need to go and see here when I am over this treatment.. I never have and always dreamed that I would.. perhaps I need a world tour..

I definetly think you should go. What a wonderful adventure that would be. I was going to say maybe by summer you will feel energized eough to go, but there seasons are just the opposite there aren't they? In summer it will be winter there wouldn't it? No matter you will enjoy seeing your aunt anyway.

How is everyone's Sunday? I am being very busy washing lots of rather delicate cushion covers and embroideries.. They all have to be done in cold water with lots of soaking and rinsing.. very energetic for me.. truth is I have some great news but can't share it just yet.. so I'm keeping very busy and my mouth tight shut.. Now that I have wet you appetites.. I will get on with washing and sorting.. by the end of the day my 'Sorting the Cottage' goal would have moved on a lot .....

My Sunday has been lovely............proud of my flowers I planted........they will take a few days to be in full bloom..............but at least the project is finished............that's a hard one for me with my back........but worth it to have some color back on the patio!!!!!!

I love your new chair, it looks so comfy....you've had some great things on ebay haven't you. You have been busy too with sorting out the cottage and hand washing. I've been energetic today too, did some weeding in the back border, and loads of ironing. My back is complaining now. Be careful you don't do too much...have little rests for you to recover. Enjoy your healing session tomorrow.
Loads of love and hugs

That is quite the "open arms" type of chair, don't you think!? Love it! So, you have some special news...and now you do have curiousity simply boiling up in this old girl.
A puppy, huh? Quite the contrast between the Maltese and Springer!!!
If Chip is over today, give him a pat from me!
hugs, linda
