Close Asthma
Type: Adult AsthmaI was diagnosed with Adult a while ago and am doing well. The action plan my doctor has set up for me seems to be working well.
Treatments
- Albuterol Working / Worked
- ProAir is working for me and have no side effects.
- Singulair Working / Worked
- Ever since I have been on Singulair, I have noticed a huge difference (for the better) - I have not had to use my inhaler as much. I have not noticed any side effects.
- Zyrtec Working / Worked
- This helps me at night and have not noticed any side effects.
Close Hypothyroidism
I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism for the past 12-13 years. I was tired ALL THE TIME and slept a lot. When I finally went to the doctor, he called and told me my blood results were positive for this disease. I have been taking Synthroid on a daily basis and go every six months for blood work.
Treatments
- Synthroid Working / Worked
- I have been on Synthroid for over 13 years; without it, I would be writing this in my sleep.
Open Eczema
A few months ago I broke out in a terrible rash and when I went to my primary doctor, he sent me to a dermatologist who diagnosed me with eczcema. This is one of the worst things I have ever had to deal with. There have been times when I just wanted to cry because of the severe itching. I can relate to anyone who has eczema - it is a terrible, horrible condition I wouldn't wish on anyone!
Treatments
- Clobetasol Working / Worked
- This works well when eczcema is just beginning. Otherwise, I use Protopic to severe rash.
- Protopic Working / Worked
- This works great when rash is really severe. The unfortunate part is that it is messy (like most creams) and smells.
