About Me
I was a high school teacher until my health became too poor. I am married and have a 19 yr old son, 22 yr old daughter and a son who is turning 11. I also have two grandchildren--one that was adopted at birth by a great family and is 6 years old now, and my granddaughter who is 3. I am a Christian. Though I don't try to convert others or focus on religion, it is an important part of my life. I want to make some positive changes in my life, incl. making some friends and finding/giving support.

*Chronic Fatigue Syndrome *Fibromyalgia *Daily headaches *Frequent migraines *Internal scarring which causes constant pain

- Oxycodone Working / Worked
- This worked well for the internal scarring until I had it removed surgically, however it gave me chronic headaches
- Topamax Not Working
- I tried it and couldn't handle the side effects. I'd like to find out about others' experiences with this
- Ultram Not Working
- I had to go off of it because it made my heart arrythmia worse
Close Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionI have shut myself off from the world and have no support of any kind.
Treatments
- Prozac Working / Worked
- I'd probably be worse without it, but I've been on so long I don't know.
- Wellbutrin Working / Worked
- I didn't think it was doing much and went off with horrendous results,so I'm back on.
- Writing Working / Worked
- It helps when I'm not too depressed to write
Open Fibromyalgia
I've had FS and CFS for 15 years along with other health problems

- made my arrythmia much worse so i had to stop
- Vitamin B12 Working / Worked
- not yet

- don't see any difference after a month.
