Journal Entry for January 16, 2008 Mood
Wednesday, January 16, 2008

Good morning my friends.  I hope everyone is feeling well and enjoying the day.  Smile

It has been a crazy few days.  This always seems to happen before Craig and I go anywhere.  First thing that happened is Pa Hook fell and the home health nurse found him in the morning cold and on the floor.  He is okay and in the hospital with no broken bones thank goodness.  He won't use his walker or wheelchair that we have provided for him.  You can lead a horse to water.Frown Anyways he is okay as he can be at his age and with his diagnosis.  I used to be a mess when these things happened but I am giving all the worrying to a higher power that is in charge anyways.  Craig called his brother Todd and told him we are going to be gone and it is up to Brad and him to handle things.  I was shocked and proud of him.  We have so many life changing things going on and this trip is very important to it.  Sometimes you have to let people grow at there pace.  We deal with problems everday with them whether it is hausinations or pa calling the police so many things and I was happy Craig asked for help.

There is more....Our associate veterarian is pregnant and in the hospital with dehydration from morning sickness.  I'm very concerned because they have had fluids running for 2 days.  Seems like she should be feeling better by now.  But she is going to the doctor that diagnosed me and did 2 of my surgeries so I know she is in great hands.  I'm concerned for her but I know what is suppose to be will be.  I have giving my worries to someone larger than myself.  We did ask our selfs last night...Craig and I....What is next?

So far the sale is still on and we are going shopping for equipment for the new clinic.  A true blessing for the both of us.  We had an encredibly busy two days.  I'm amazed at the surgeries we get through.  We worked from 8-6 non stop on surgeries Tuesday.  We could of did more work but we had to get to the hospital it see pa.  People in our community really rely on us and handing them over to Nick (the new vet)  is okay with me.  He's going to take great care of them all.

Gotta go to work then it is off to Florida.  Looking forward to it but have to get through today first.  I'll be excited once I get on the airplane and have a cocktail.

Hugs and love to you all.....
