  Dear Beth
  I had some time to reread some journal comments and noticed that your 5k was at 30min. I`m sending you a gold star for a job well done. I`m a bit disappointed in myself because I`ve been talking myself out of running but doing lots of walking. I can walk 6 miles with no problem but the impact of running seems to be weakening my body. However, my intent is to try and resume as the weather cools off. Happy running.

  The summer is passing and we all could not wait for winter to be over but this 103 heat here in Stockton, California is the pits!!! I want a day of complaining about it being too cold - LOL for a change. Just wanted to send you some good thoughts. Keep hanging in there!!!! (((hugs))) Patricia

  Hi Beth, I've missed you lately, where've you been? Glad you're well and expect you've been busy. The last few wks have been busy for me too with the passing of my aunty and now we have to clear her house which seems to be a mammoth task as she was a hoarder. It'll be done though eventually.
  Our son in Holland is hoping to come here with all the family in October, so looking forward to seeing and hugging the little twins and Gwyneth. Yesterday we had our grandsons here for the afternoon which was great as they always make us laugh. We're going away in 3wks time.......going on cruise to the Med. Feel as though I need a little break now and I've got 3wks to lose another 6lbs!!! Got to get my weight down for the sake of my joints.

  Hi Beth, how 're you doing? And how's your little granddaughter?
  I've got an app to see the haematologist in the hospital on Mon, and don't know what to expect really, probably more tests and maybe a scan, don't know.
  Apart from that everything is fine, going to a concert tomorrow night.

  Hi Beth, Thank you for your good wishes - all take any magic wand that can be found. My husband and I will be seeing Harry Potter this weekend. It would be great if magic were so easy but I'll take the two and a half hours of distraction. Much love, Janet
