  Thanks for the chicken soup Beth, really appreciate that. I've been feeling horrible with this painful throat of mine...................could be worse of course!!!
  We sure had a wonderful holiday in the Med, really unforgettable and met some interesting ppl, lots of Americans on the ship. We came back from Holland last Thurs and we helped our son look after the twins and little Gwyneth while our DIL came back to the UK for a mini-break. It was hectic as you can imagine and feeding 2 babies at the same time was an art I had to learn quickly!! John loves his food and can't get it quick enough, whereas Ruth takes it slowly and thoughtfully. They are so different in their ways, but they are both little cuties and so adorable. I hope you are well,.........noticed you've had a scan and everything is ok??? I'm seeing a rheumatologist on Tues to see if I have RA.........we'll see.

  How`s your weather at the island? Have you been running any recent 5ks, I know how hard you`ve been working at decreasing your time into the 29:00 range. We`ll be sailing the next 5 weekends, today is in the mid 70s and already the leaves are changing. Have fun on the island.

  Hi Beth. Sorry I've been coping with too much with this disability and all but I wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts even when I am not able to check in as often as I would like. On the better days I'm still working at getting the gardens in better shape. I'm looking toward the end of the garden season so that I can perhaps spend more time with my DS friends. How is your health, cancer doing? I am now in year six of post chemotherapy. My CFIDS disability that I have been ill with now for the past thirteen years is still as severe as ever but as long as the cancer does not return I think I can manage this illness. I'm sick in bed much more then I would like but am coping pretty well for now. Sending you lots of good thoughts and gentle (((hugs))) Patricia

  Hope all goes well for you Beth! My 2 year check was on Sept 1st. I'm clear and healthy!!! My Oncologist told me there is no need to return to the Cancer Centre for checks...I just go to my regular Gyno once a year. She said for my type and grade of Uterine cancer , there is little chance of recurrance! What a relief!
