  I'm doing ok, lately I just can't seem to get enough sleep though! I think if someone let me I would sleep an entire day straight through. If the rain stops today or tomorrow I really want to go to an apple orchard. I've been wanting apple dumplings and apple crisp... yummmm They taste so wonderful with fresh apples.   Here's some sunshine to prepare you for Florida, lucky you, wish I was going too, lol.
  We had a good weekend but quieter than the week before when we went to the races. Never been to anything like that before but it was a great day out, and Tom managed to win £90, lol. Must have been beginners luck.

  He is fine thank you. It was out patient surgery. They did it laproscoply (sp) He just has a small incision at his belt line about 2 inches long. My son said he woke up from surgery like a bear. He normally wakes up from a nap in a bad mood, but this was even worse. lol. They said he probably felt like he had a hangover. Poor little guy. By the next day it was like nothing happened. The have to keep him off the jungle gym and such for about a week, which is hard because he loves going to the park by their house. I haven'g been able to get up there yet to see him. Hopefully today I will. I bought him a little doctor kit, so he could play doctor. lol. Thanks again for asking. Love and hugs to you, Anita

  Hi Beth!
  Thank you, I am feeling a lot better. That chemo made me pretty shakey all day yesterday, but today I seem to have no serious side effects. Hopefuly the weather is nicer there then it is here in Ohio, just wet and gloomy.. yuck. No hay rides for us, no fun in the cold rain. I hope you have a lovely weekened planed!!

  Thanks for the chocolate, hoping that the antioxidants will bring my CA levels down :) I had a heel lift in one of my running shoes, a chiropractor told me that one leg was a bit shorter and it would be helpful. Just be careful not to over irritate them too much as they take a long while to heal when you`re a runner. I still haven`t been strong enough to run but have ordered Skecher Shape Ups on line yesterday. I think they`re supposed to do wonderful things for your body. It sounds like a magic sneaker, doesn`t it? Chemo went okay but I haven`t slept in quite ahile and am totally exhausted. Lots of love and don`t work too hard!

  Hope you have a god day at work and make the puppy better.. I'm sure you will.. please give the pup a kiss from me.. The drawing is coming on great... so good that I feel I have to stick with it and become a recluse for a while. that will all change on Sunday when I have to go to London with chemo on Monday morning. I would have achieved a lot by then and feel really fortunate to have all of this to do when I'm not up to much else.
  
  I have been looking into fares, but fall short of booking as I need to discuss a couple of things with the doctor. If this is to be my last chemo then I'm a bit concerned that I might need some more treatment by January. I am not too bothered about booking it early as I know I will be able to get a flight at short notice. I will tackle the doctor on Monday.. Hugs to you and all.. xxxxxx

  I`m sending you some sunshine to warm things up, it`s cold her and must be colder there. My day began with a 5AM bus, blood work and am awaiting chemo. Already they`ve blocked off streets and have police barriors ready in anticipation of the parade. How`s your heel doing, are you trying to give it a chance to heal?

  Hi Beth, I hope you are keeping warm up there in Michigan! If we're cold in Indiana you must be colder. My daughter in Denver had snow. I just feel so cheated by the weather when the temperature is below normal for the date. Will you be going to Florida for the winter? I am feeling better after being in my "post chemo tunnel" for a little over a week. We are going up to Chicago to see our new grandson this coming weekend. I haven't been able to travel since he's been born but next weekend I should be feeling fine. I hope all is well with you and here's some sunshine to help you stay warm. Much love, Janet
