It has been almost 2 years since my world was shaken from its foundation. I have been taking better care of myself and doing things that I enjoy more often. Not "Sweating the Small Stuff" has truly became my motto because as long as I have air in my lungs everything else is. Made wonderful friends that have been my best blessing that I have received from this.

Playing the Piano.....Gardening.....and Exercise........Golfing. I love animals big and small and love to help them improve their quality of life......I must say I love chatting with my special friends here on DS loads.....

Hey Beth!! I so want to meet up, but we're leaving town on Friday, not returning until the 27th!! Boo!!! And this weeks just crazy, I'm still battling my cold and running all over Orlando to teach my classes...When r u guys coming back? How far are you from Lindamae?

Thanks for the welcome. I have not been diagnosed but have a lot of symptoms. I am having exploratory sugery on Dec 7th. I am also waiting for my CA-125 test to come back. I had a ultrasound and CAT scan in July and nothing showed up but my symptoms got worse. Again thanks for the warm welcome and I am glad you are a survivor. People on here give me hope.

Close Ovarian Cancer
I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in September 2007. Had a total hysterectomy in November. All my pathologies where clear so no chemo. I get inhibin levels and CA 125 every three months. Feeling very well and owe my happy spirits to the wonderful souls on this site that I am prond to call my friends....
Treatments
- Hysterectomy Working / Worked
Close Hysterectomy
Had a ovarian cancer diagnosis in September. Had a total hysterectomy Nov 12th. All my tissue samples came back clean so no chemo. They will keep an eye on my inhibin levels and Ca 125 every four months.
Treatments
- Running Working / Worked
- Works excellent for relieving stress of a cancer diagnosis. or stress of just day to day living. All ya need is a charged I pod and a good pair of shoes.
Open Diets & Weight Maintenance
Lost 30 pound last year. It took almost 10 months to do it. Slowly but steady it came off.
Treatments
- Physical Exercise Working / Worked
- Still going strong. If you have any issues with depression this will help that also.
- Weight Watchers Working / Worked
- Used the online program and it was great. I'm not a meeting person. I exercised alot before the program but once I started it just melted off.
