I am being levitated by cats.... Mood
Monday, October 12, 2009

I am literally being levitated by cats.  Yep, you guessed it, we are having a thunderstorm here and all the cats think that they should be underneath me so I can protect them.  Like I can.  Ahhh, cats, they are the most wonderful creatures and the most strange.  I love my little monsters...er...cats, but sometimes, like now, I need a break from them.  I was coloring mandalas, but with cats wiggling underneath me, it is kind of hard.  Yep, I still color, must be the child in me.  There goes the lights, thank god for battery packs.  Somekitty is wiggling under my left buttock and it is making it hard to type.  Oh well, so much for a journal entry.

Purrs to all--Laura

Hi Laura - you are so funny! How many cats do you have now? I just got home from my temp job and I took off Otis' "gear" and wow he went wild. Grabbed his bunny and is running around the house like a chicken with his head popped off. :) Animals! He has taken to whining lately and I can't figure that out yet. Its like his PTSD is saying - "more love - I need more love" I'm going to check with vet about allergies - he is sneezing more and scratching more. That time of year I guess. :) Hope you are doing well. I'm finally trying to get my pain under some form of control for a while. Got a new doctor and she has me trying new things. :) Take care CathyM and Otis

Yeah but you wouldnt have it any other way. I think animals are the closest thing to giving unconditional love, as long as you feed them theyre happy. Its nice to have a nice cuddly cat curled up next to you when one is feelign down, cats know how to tell you that even if noone else needs you they do. Take care hun

I love reading your journal enrties laura, they always make me smile... my kittens like to sleep under me at night, which makes for a very uncomfortable sleep because I am scared im going to squash them, but they wont accept anything else - they just Have to sleep snuggled right up as far as they can get - under the covers and under my arms or legs or wherever they can find a comfy spot.

Gotta love em... they keep us smiling.

LOL... That sounds a bit like my clan when ever we get a storm going on outside. Once, during a storm, I decided to go to bed early, because the power went out. I was tired anyway, so it was easy to fall asleep. Well... about 2 hours latter I woke up wondering why I could not turn. It turned out I couldn't turn because there was no room to turn. I had 7 kitties hiding under the covers with me. And these were not any of the small 8 or 9 pounder kitties. They were all big kitties weighing in at a minimum of 13 pounds for the smallest one there, all the way up to my adored Frankie who weighs in at around 29 pounds. The other kitties gave up even trying to get on my bed apparently, and were pestering my brother and sister.

    Aren't cats just a joy?
    LOL

    Thanks for sharing.
