I just had my 40th Birthday and guess who remembered? Guess? My hubby is the only one that remembered (Well LoveCats remembered here online...one of the reasons I love him, other than his name! 
) . So, I am living with my brother and his wife, which is not working out, so they will be moving and I even talked to my mother on my birthday and she never mentioned a thing...I mean it was my 40th!! I think I have a right to be a little bit selfish on that day, seeing as I am now officially middle aged and have to pretend to be an adult and everything! So I thought I would come to DS and throw myself a birthday party! So, mention what you are bringing (cake, veggie tofu, whatever) and what you are going to do for entertainment (I know someone plays the maracas and someone tells some really good limericks, but I won't say who!) , and let's give me the birthday party I deserve! Come to think of it, I have never had a birthday party, so this will be my first. Join in and let's have fun, because let's face it, I am depressed as hell over this.

Happy Birthday! 40 is the new 25, or so I hear. I'm pushing 50, so I know what you mean about "middle-aged." Sounds so adult, responsible, parental, boring! But it has its good side as well. I feel much more comfortable with myself than I did when I was younger, and appreciate the good things in life. Enough rambling here ... what should I bring? How about catnip so the kitties will get all rowdy and keep the party hopping? You'll have to post a photo of your tattoo! Hope your day is great!

My kitties always get a b-day party, but do I???? NO. Iam 44 years old and my one and only party was when I was 39, but believe it or not, I hated it because i don't like being the center of attention for 2 hours. I did appreciate it, so don't get me wrong. when I was a kid I never had a birthday party so I'm still waiting for my BARBIE DOLL cake. and some cool toys.
