.....uuggghhhhh.....sigh........ok......I am a little frustrated! The perinatologist convinced my OB that they should wait to take her out!!!!! They said she looks good & there is no reason to take her yet. I have to say I am rather overwhelmed....I have made it so much further then they ever thought & they keep teasing me with possible time frames. I am so worried we are going to pass the threshold of what is safe or now that my OB is going to be gone I am going to have her in the next two weeks.
Last week I was measuring average to small & now I am measuring large! How in the world does that change in a weeks time....I only gained a pound?!?! I am having a biophysical profile & growth measurements next week to make sure my plump little girl is doing ok. I just don't want someone else to deliver her.....I have bad luck when it comes to my doctors leaving on vacation....I always end up in trouble somehow!
Thank you all for your prayers, hugs, and well wishes. It really means the world to me that you all care & have been thinking about us. I will keep you posted on it all.....I just hope now that I make it to 35wks!!!!!

if they think she's still doing well she's better off
incubating some more. You've done such a great job keeping her and you healthy . I think it's a testament to your job as a mom that they are going to leave her in there. I'm sure you will make it until your OB is back, you've made it this far!!!

I can imagine how you must feel but I know everything will work out for you and your little girl. Sometimes they are not that accurate with weight. I was told Ronan was average and he ended up weighing almost 9 lbs!

Babies have growth spurts and will go from small to much bigger so quick, it really is amazing! I do think the longer you can let her stay inside, the better. As long as they don't think there is any danger, she needs to be as developed as possible. Remember, that will prevent or reduce any stay in the NICU. Better for her and for you!!! So hang in there and I will pray that you don't go into labor or get into trouble before your doctor is back. Hugs, Fern

You can do it! It will be so much better for her at 35 weeks, well, better for you that way maybe you can take her home w/ you and don't have to leave her. It isn't easy, I PROMISE! God is in control, and what will happen is out of your hands. Take it easy and just enjoy this time before she arrives... whenever that maybe.

You'll make it. I just know it. In reality this is such a "good" problem to have. I know your tired and ready and worried about Dani's health, but she is healthy and happy right where she should be. Try to look at this as some extra time for you and DH to savor as a "couple" before you turn into a family of three. Hang in there sweet pea, your doing everything just right!

I know how disappointed you must be. I expected to come here and either hear nothing or see news of her arrival. A couple of weeks will make a big difference though in how ready she will be and in how long she will need to stay in the hospital. I will keep my fingers crossed and pray you both make it until 35 weeks... she has done so well, I bet she will!

35 weeks is good.That when I had my girls and they spent 11 days in the NICU.They were fine but little.Good Luck and it will be here before you know it.

So amazing that you have made it this far!! Hang in there, if she is doing so well inside of you, then we just keep hoping and praying that she makes it a little further before she has to come out and battle on her own in the NICU. It would be wonderful if she makes it to 35 weeks!

Hang in there everything seems to be going well for now and the baby is happy and growing inside you, the best place for her.
So far you and Dany are doing fine and a coulpe more weeks inside you will be even better for the baby.
You'll have your baby when the doc comes back for his holiday.

congrats on making it so far. no matter what everything will go great. i was nervous about which dr. i would have. i ended up not having the one i hoped and the one i had turned out to be so much better than any dr. i have ever heard about. she stayed with me for 5 hrs, gave me the epidural before i was 4cm dilated and gave me a perfect incision for the c-section, so things have a way of working out in the end. dont worry. everything will be great.
