Yet another great day at the perinatologist & OB. Danicka is still holding her own & I am determined to make it to 32wks. Sunday will be 30...I am almost there!!! My blood pressure was down, my weight up (retaining A LOT of fluid in my hands, legs, and feet but didn't lose any more weight since last week), my belly is measuring great, and Dani is still on the lower side of normal with her blood flow.
Rich finally felt his daughter move last nite. It was really funny...he thought I was hiccuping....but it was her beating the daylights out of my insides! During the u/s today she showed she loves lying across my belly. She spreads out with each arm & leg in the far corners of my abdomen. Her foot feels like it is permanently embedded up & under my rib cage. Not to mention I think she plays with her umbilical cord on a routine basis....I felt a tugging feeling (and have many times) & then we saw her holding it in her hand....we all got a laugh out of that.
With the air conditioning roaring & my belly full I think I can take a nap. My pup & I are going to curl up on the couch together....well that is if I can do it comfortably with his wonderful cone still on his head. Thankfully I think we only have a week of activity restriction left for him....I think the back of my legs are filled with bruises from him cramming that darn cone into my legs & up my butt! If he weren't so cute....

I am so excited for you!!! And the good news is that if you were to go into labor now, Dani would do very well. She might need a little time in a NICU, but she would be fine! I can't wait for posts from you lately. Its so exciting and I am so happy for you, becuase I know the pain of loss and how it makes you feel in a subsequent pregnancy! Hugs, Fern

Hooray! So close! A good friend of mine had twins at 30 weeks in December and they were (and are) fine... they needed extra time in the NICU, but they were released before her due date... an extra 2 weeks in the womb will make Dani even stronger!

I am so happy hon. I just had a feeling from t he beginning that Danicka was going to stay put for a while. She is a tough cookie like her mommy! I cannot believe how quickly the time is flying by and she will be here before you know it. I am so happy for you babe and thrilled that you are both doing well. Love ya! xoxo

YAY! Every extra day she stays in is a good day! I am glad Rich got to feel her move finally. Puppies and kitties are so cute with those cones on! I know they don't like them but they are for a good reason. Keeping you and Danicka in my prayers! :-)

Little Dani is holding her own thanks to the great mom she has that is doing everything possible to keep her strong. She may go all the way to 32 weeks.
