I had my u/s today...she is doing well. They measured her at 2lbs 3 oz....60th percentile for growth. She kicked the tech's hand & u/s probe....it was great! She is going to be a Cirque acrobat like my DH's cousin....she had her legs crossed & almost behind her head & was completely showing off her woohoo. They had a difficult time checking the blood flow in the cerebral artery because she wouldn't hold still. They finally got the number they needed.
Essentially she is still doing everything as they expect her to. I have another antibody titer next week & if it goes up again I will be having the level 2 u/s every week. She explained the transfusion a little more (I think she is expecting it at any time). They will do a PUBS (percutaneous uterine blood sampling)...where they puncture thru the uterus into the umbilical cord to draw a sample of blood. With that they will do a complete blood count & type & cross match her blood. They will start with O neg blood & will only give type specific if it doesn't work. I would stay overnite to monitor for contractions. The amount of blood they transfuse is dependent on her size, amount of anemia, etc....they have a graph for everything!!!!
The room is coming along well. I still have to paint the mural but I have it all drawn out. The window has been replaced & looks great. I just need to paint the trim, base boards, and doors. Then move in the furniture. It looks so good already! I still can't believe I am having a girl at any time (hopefully weeks away though)....wow....time has flown by!!!! 26 1/2 wks already. It seems like yesterday I was joining this site after losing my first baby. Since then, 2 more babies lost, 3 more IVF cycles done, and finally this miracle is growing inside of me....each kick is such a blessing!!!! Thank you all for helping me thru each step in this process. I honestly don't know where I would be without you all!!! You are the greatest group of girls anywhere!!!

I'm so glad things continue to go well, you deserve nothing but a healthy pregnancy and it sounds like for the most part considering the circumstances you and your little Danicka are defying the odds. Like mama like daughter!

Dulcy, I'm so glad to hear the good news. Danicka is so strong because she gets her strength from her mommy. I hope things continue to go well and you're able to avoid a transfusion. I just had a feeling that Danicka would be just fine because you are such a fighter! She totally gets that from you already. Although I wish I was going down the same road as you right now, I feel so blessed to have met you and even have you in my life. I know we will be lifelong friends and someday damn it, we will get our kids together for a play date! So glad that the nursery is coming along so well...I cant wait to see pics of the mural. Make sure you are getting rest and putting up your feet...we want the little one to stay put for now. I love ya tons and am so happy that you are enjoying every moment of this wonderful journey. xoxo
