      My 16 year old daughter had a 60% degree curve and a very successful operation in June 09. We are both very glad she had it done, it has made a huge improvement to her lifestyle and we are much closer because of it too!

      Thanks for your info. My daughter is getting better with each and every passing day. It has been 10 days now and she almost doesn't need the heavy meds any longer. I am anxious to see just how straight she is, I know she is 2 1/2 inches taller.

      Hi Tiph, thinking of you, in the same boat, my daughter has been very badly affected to by scoliosis to. We are waiting to hear the results of the MRI which will determine what type of surgery she is likely to have. Do you know when your daughter will be having surgery and where? Kind Regards Mandy

      I have a daughter who has just been diagnosed with scholiosis (50%+) who is nearly 15. We have just been told she needs an operation to correct.
