i just got out of the hospital after seven days. very bad excerbation and hardly no breath when i was admitted but home now and feeling better. hang in there and let me know how you're doing.

Thank you for your encouraging words. As for advice, sorry but I really cant say anything but keep praying for her. That was what my hubby did for me and evidently it worked. As of the first I have been clean from cocaine for 10 months. I am ready to celebrate that year! I havent had a drink in 10 days and that is incredible for me. I grew up in a house with 2 alcoholic parents but my mom quit about 10 years before she passed away. As for my dad he drinks about a case of beer a day, but he lives on the other side of town and we have little contact with one another. Like I said though keep your faith high and your prayers even HIGHER! What part of Florida are you from? Jacksonville here. I am here if you ever need to get things off of your chest....Brandy

AGO I TAKE ADVAIR 2 X'S A DAY, SPIRIVA. ALBUTEROL WHEN NEEDED, AND ON OXYGEN 24/7 AT 4 LTRS. 5-6 WHEN EXERCISING. THIS HAS BEEN LIKE THIS FOR ABOUT 4 YEARS. IT ALL CAME TO A HEAD 1 YEAR AFTER HUBBY DIED. NO ONE IN MY FAMILY SMOKED . GOD BLESS NANCY-ARMENA

Close COPD & Emphysema
I have had COPD & Asthma for 7 years now not doing to good with controling it but Im not on Oxygen yet. I live in a small town That doesn't have a support group so am in need of some understanding ears.

- It made my heart beat too fast and the shaking drove me crazy
- Atrovent Somewhat Helpful
- It helps dry up the mucous some
- Combivent Not Working
- made no noticeable changes
- Spiriva Working / Worked
- works realy well am haveing less excerbations
- Xopenex Working / Worked
- it helps my breatheing and clears my Broncial secretions really well
- Theophylline Working / Worked
- It keeps me controled real well but my allergies keep my Asthma interfering with treatment .
- Advair Working / Worked
- doesn't help that much
- Lexapro Working / Worked
- levels out my moods and helps with depression , Panic & anixity disorder
