Hey All
Hope all is doing well. Haven't wrote in awhile so will write as remember as confuse you and me both haha. Christmas was good some days and some days not. Dad's christmas was done on christmas eve. We had dustin and justin but they went to there grandma's on wednesday and Ralph was sick so me, joey, rhonda and alex went to dads. I saw most my brothers and dad and step mom.We were running late because I had a headache and we stop at walmart to get dad a card. He's birthday is christmas. So dad got a card and Alex got pokemon cards. Everyone had gifts except for us but that was okay. We talk for awhile and then step mom stated hitting the beer and soon after dad did and the brothers started leaving. we stay a little later since we got there late. I told dad I was going in the hospital and it seem to go through one ear and out the other so we will see what happens. He hasn't called yet. We finally left when dad was about half drunk and it was raining outside. I had a hard time seeing going home and we finally made it home after missin two turn offs. I got on the computer but was tired so I was up but wasn't feeling good.I finally went to bed and the next day was time to get ready to go to ralph's parents. My in-laws are cool so I don't mind going to there house except they make everything in pork and we don't eat pork and we usually get sick and this time was an exception. I ate some ham and sausage balls and stomach hurt half the night and had the runs so no more pork for me. Ralph ate biscuits and they were probably fix with pork lard so he was sick to. So no more pork for us. We got there at 330 and stay til 730 and was ready to rest i was very tired. It was christmas time but it didn't seem like it. It seem like another day to me. I got my chair and that was it. We watch movies the night before but I didn't feel like it this night. I got on the puter and just played around. The next day was friday and it was time to go to mom's. Ralph went hunting then Ralph took Anthony his phone so we finally made it to mom's Dustin was sick so Ralph stayed with him and we all went to mom's except them.Alex got me a stuff hippo for christmas and he got mom one to. She like it. Probably something she really didn't need but she knew alex meant well so she wouldn't going to say nothing to him. Mom gave us all money to spend on what we wanted she even gave alex, rhonda and justin and dustin money which she really didn't have to do.Supper was good and they play games with the kids and we fix food for ralph and dustin and anthony and nikki. Anthony and nikki had to work so they didn't come either. Well all in all Christmas was good God gave us family and friends and so I can't complain. The weekend was spent watching football games and playing on the computer and spending mom's money she gave us for christmas on some groceries and gas. Well we did get what we needed and thats what matters. Mom got family and a hippo lol.We got money and leftovers lol. Dustin went home today which in Monday. I call the loan guy and had to leave a message. Direct tv took money out of my account and there was no money in my bank account and they charge an overdraft. It was a automatic for the 27th and couldn't change so I cancelled it and the hell with it. I need to do some stuff to get ready for the hospital but I don't feel like it I've had a headache since wednesday and can't get rid of it been taking benedryl and flexiril almost every day in case its a tension headache or sinus but it keeps coming back. Ralph is feeling rough today and I wasn't feeling good so Joey took Dustin home. Joey never drove to his house and it isn't easy to get to his house so he was sort of anxious but he made it there and back and he had his cell phone so he did good and i'm proud of him. I proudly go to meeting tomorrow and plan on going to hospital next monday or tuesday. Got lots of stuff to do but feeling blah already. I need to go to walmart and buy me some clothes but don't have money til wednesday. I need jeans, bras, socks, and calling card. Well I guess thats about it. I'm going into the hospital to get off some of my meds if I didn't say why. I been thinking about it for awhile but I figure it out after mention it in group and they told me how to do it. So now I have to go in this mean no tv and no computer. I will have somone let everyone know how i'm doing. Thanks guys for all your support. Love ya. I'll write again before I go in. YOU CERTAINLY HAD A BUSY TIME VISITING. I GUESS A LOT OF US DO AT THIS TIME OF YEAR. THAT'S ONE OF THE THINGS I LOVE, THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
SORRY THERE WAS SO MUCH SICKNESS IN YOUR FAMILY ON THE HOLIDAYS. WE HAVE A REALLY NASTY "BUG" RUNNING AMOK HERE TOO. MY DAD HAS BEEN SICK FOR 8 WEEKS WITH THIS COLD/FLU LIKE THING AND THAT IS NOT LIKE HIM. HE IS A REAL HEALTH NUT.. VITAMINS, SUPPLEMENTS, REGULAR DOCTOR VISITS PLUS HE IS A PERSONAL TRAINER AT THE YMCA AND WORKS OUT HIMSELF EVERYDAY. HE HAS WORKED OUT EVERYDAY SINCE HE WAS 17 AND HE IS GOING TO BE 71. HE DOES NOT LOOK OR ACT HIS AGE. ANYWAY, HE HAS BEEN TO THE DOC. SEVERAL TIME OVER THIS AND RECEIVED MEDS BUT IT AIN'T CUTTING IT. HE IS SO SICK HE DID NOT MAKE OUR TRADITIONAL BOXING DAY FEAST AT MY PLACE. YOU KNOW DAD IS SICK WHEN HE PASSES UP GOOD FOOD. MY MOM HAS RECENTLY STARTED WITH THE SAME THING. I HOPE SHE GETS IY UNDER CONTROL FASTER.
WELL, I HOPE EVERYONE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD IS ON THE MEND. HAVE A GREAT DAY. DEBBIE

Robin, Don't take Benadryl for sinus headaches as this can make them much worse. It dries out the sinuses. Take Guifenisin or any kind of expectorant like Musinex instead and drink lots and lots of water. This helps your body to thin out the secretions and clear them out of your sinuses. You might also want to try a saline wash for your sinuses or a nettie pot. You use warm salt water to clear out your sinuses. I didn't know how to do this until recently, but have stopped at least 3 sinus infections by using the salt water wash. Good luck with your hospital stay. Hugs, Fern

Xmas is a rough time for me also. It use to be a special time but once I lost all of my family at age 30... it killed it for me. But I to try and focus on my little family I have around me now. Congrates on all your goals. Your a strong person. You have me beat! Sending healing energy your way my friend, there are better days ahead of us. Fern is right about the advice on the sinus infections. I hope that gets better really fast sweetie ;)

Christmas is a hard time of year, Everyone expects so much of you that it's hard to keep up. Just do what you can and leave the rest to the good Lord. Hope your hospital stay does everything you want it to. Beth

Christmas is always a rough time of year for so many. Expectations are so high, reality just can't keep up with marketing. Praying for the health issues. and your future. Love you, Diane

Well, I know things have been tough for you but maybe after you get out of the hospital you will feel better and will have a better outlook because our physical bodies do affect our moods. Maybe your headaches will be fewer too!!!! I pray that you do well in the hospital and come home feeling like a new person!!!! God Bless you!!!!
