About Me
I've had a total of 3 losses, one 7 years ago and 2 last year: one in May and one in August. The 2nd one last year was a blighted ovum that required a d&c (after much pleading with the doctors just to make it stop). We finally started trying again in November. With the 1st one last year we got pregnant on the 2nd try. We finally found out we were pregnant again on May 23rd. We are almost to the halfway point, and things are looking good!!

Close Miscarriage
After two miscarriages within 6 months, I'm having a hard time coping and working through this, even with my husband's support. I still feel lost and he feels helpless.
Treatments
- D&C Working / Worked
- The second miscarriage was the worst, and involved 3 trips to the ER. They did the D&C and it was practically miraculous how much better I felt. Emotionally, I was drained and just incredibly sad, but relieved that it had physically ended and could try to move on.
Close Pregnancy After Loss/Infertility
I lost two pregnancies this past summer and had to have one terminated 7 years ago. I haven't become pregnant yet, but my husband and I are going to start trying in November. I'm joining this community in the hope that I will be able to have a positive outlook for the future.
Open Pregnancy
this is my 4th pregnancy and only successful one so far.
Open Parenting Newborns & Infants (0-1)
After two miscarriages, we finally got pregnant with our new baby boy. He was born February 6th, 2009 and weight 8 lbs 14 3/4 oz. We are so happy and I'm so excited to be finally graduating to the parenting group!
Open Parenting Toddlers (1-3)
We had our first baby on February 6, 2009 after a struggle with fertility. We are hoping to add one more to our family within the next few years. With this being our first baby, I'm looking for advice from others and what worked for them as far as parenting goes.
