My husband 35 yrs passed away on July 16th of 2007. He had a cough for about a week and went to the doctor, He had a chest xray and was diagonosed with small cell lung cancer. He had never smoked nor been around smoking. We were told that chemo and radiation would more than likely put it into remission for 6-12 mths. His first chemo went well. His blood tests showed that his liver count was better.It had spread to his liver also.He was told on his 53rd brthday he had weeks. he died 2 dys later.

- Pets Working / Worked
- Reading Working / Worked
- Somewhat but when I realize how long the grief period can be, I cannot imagine feeling like this that long.
- Remembering Somewhat Helpful
- Might sound crazy, but I ordered this memory bear for myself. The shirt is my husband's company work shirt and the head, legs, are made from his work pants. I sleep with it everynight. Feel like I have him a bit more with me.
