My husband 35 yrs passed away on July 16th of 2007. He had a cough for about a week and went to the doctor, He had a chest xray and was diagonosed with small cell lung cancer. He had never smoked nor been around smoking. We were told that chemo and radiation would more than likely put it into remission for 6-12 mths. His first chemo went well. His blood tests showed that his liver count was better. It had spread to his liver also.He was told on his 53rd brthday he had weeks. he died 2 dys later.
My husband at the age of 53 was diagonosed with small cell lung cancer. He had never been sick. It had spread to his liver. He died 3 weeks later. I am devastated. We have been together since we were 15 yrs. old. Two lovely children, one beautiful grandchild. HOw could this have happened?
