Ha ha this site is great, can come back and change my profile every day.really encourages the schizophenic in me....I am 35 years old, English...Have been in recovery for 12 months...an addict before that for over 10 years and using drink and drugs for nearly 20 years...all my adult life really...well I think I have been taking drugs of some kind since my first pubic hair appeared - boy whatta day that was !! I mock and joke but oh so wish I had never tried a drug...They made me then steadily pulled me apart and have left me in tatters...bewildered with life..I so need life to improve for me...Just wonder how I let it go so wrong?

WARNING....ONLY READ MY JOURNAL IF YOU HAVE TIME TO WASTE..writing blogs seems to be becoming an interest! Well, normally my interests are crack cocaine and heroin..but when clean and serene I seem to really get into fitness and healthy living...is probably a really good thing to do and I really enjoy the buzz of being fit, strong and green - Not the Hulk !! Thing is I can't seem to stay permanently clean..which is now a real worry and kinda why I have found this site...Really hoping to find a kindred spirit and/or some support... I should also get into art...have been told for years I have a talent..but never ever pursue it...oh such a waste..i wonder how many talents are hidden and wasted amongst us....

Close Heroin Addiction & Recovery
I am 35 years old, English and live in the UK. Familiar story I'm sure but have been into drugs for 15 years, an addict for 10...Been in a very unstable recovery for 12 months now..
Treatments
- Narcotics Anonymous (NA) Considering
- 2 years with NA..became very absorbed with it and found it extremely helpful..Fell out with them though and felt very cultish..am considering returning but the jury is still out.
- Residential Treatment Center Working / Worked
- been 3 times. Each time failed but feel combined I now have a lot of tools to put into practice
- Suboxone Working / Worked
- am still taking Subutex..have done for over a year now...
- Subutex Working / Worked
- as with Suboxone
