About Me
I am originally from the South of England, and now live in in South Carolina. I am a workaholic mostly by choice. I work as a College Counsellor as Job 1, Job 2 is part time as a weight loss counsellor, and then Just for fun (and the benefits) there is Job 3 part time in Retail. My biggest problem, seems to be that I spend all my time counselling others and helping others, and I dont seem to take any time for myself, and I dont seem to have any fun. This is something I advise everyone to do - The most important thing to do every day is to have a belly laugh about something and find time to relax....

Affected Areas: Psoriasis of the SkinI have suffered from Ps and PsA for 20 years. Have been severe and hospitalized a couple of times.
Treatments
- Betamethasone (Topical) Not Working
- Never worked ofr me, and stung like crazy
- Coal Tar Not Working
- didnt help and smells really bad
- Cyclosporine Not Working
- didnt work for me
- Dermarest Somewhat Helpful
- didnt help much
- Dovonex Somewhat Helpful
- At least made my skin comfortable but didnt clear it at all
- Enbrel Working / Worked
- Have used off and on for the past couple of years. During breaks PS was more severe than ever before
- Methotrexate Somewhat Helpful
- never worked on it's own but have taken with enbrel
- Phototherapy Working / Worked
- PUVA worked for me - minimal side effects but my skin was very leathery
- Raptiva Not Working
- made me sick immediately
- Soriatane Not Working
- Couldnt tolerate it my mouth, palms of hands and soles of feet were raw
- Tazorac Somewhat Helpful
- soothed the skin but didnt improve condition

pack a day smoker for 20+ years and hate it, but always find excuses not to stay quit

I actually worked at a Weight Loss center as a Consultant and while I was in the spotlight I stuck to the program and lost 50lbs - to within 10 lbs of my goal weight. After I left the Job I just couldnt maintain the drive to continue and quickly went back to my bad eating habits and gained 30 lbs back again...
