You're welcome - glad it did some good!
Thanks for the support, it means alot.
When I got really sick in 2005: car accident, feet injury, 2 drug reactions that did not go away and turned into this horrible fibro/fatigue, I also got secondary anxiety and deprssion. I had just quit a job, and got onto long term disability because after a year my sx were not better. If you have short term disability, get on it for 6 mos, and since it takes 6mos to a year to get LT disability, if you are no better, you might try for that. Especially since it is easier nowdays to get on it for Fibro, anxiety, and any psych disorders... But severe stress makes Fibro worse, I did not see how old you are, but I am apalled at how much I have aged in 5 years from being sick... The fatigue and lack of muscle...no energy, depression...And for me, lack of support, and stress is a killer. My family for some reason, started hating me when I got sick, that is when it started, and then when I took care of my dad with lung cancer it got worse. It was so hard, and I needed my sisters love....I am now going to have to start the long process of finding "new" sisters that are not blood related and it is sad.. But anyway , back to you, think about what I said, and hugs and support. raindrop512
Aw hon, I'm so sorry your short term disability is asking for more information. Mine did that to me for my back surgery. Please don't let it get you down or too worried. I don't know about every situation, but mine they sent forms to my employer to be filled out, to my family to be filled out, and to my doctors to be filled out. Have they done that for you yet? Did they say what "additional information" they need? I'm sorry sweetie. It sounds like you're doing everything you can, it just those darn insurance companies seeing you as a piece of paper. Too bad you can't wad up that fibro like a piece of paper and toss it in the trash! :) I hope you have a good night hon, you sure deserve it. Big, warm hugs being sent your way.
I am in my late thirties and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia about 10 years ago.
