About Me
I am a legal bankruptcy secretary, working full time, and a part time student at Fresno City College working towards my Paralegal certificate. I was married to Tom last October, 2006, so we're coming up on our 1 year anniversary! It's difficult juggling work, school and home-life, but I'm doing it as well as I can. Tom and I are also talking about adding children to the list, which would mean I would be a full-time mom instead of a full-time secretary. I love to read when I can find the time

Close Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL)
My husband was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia called Large Granular Lymphocytic Leukemia, on October 3, 2006... 3 weeks before our wedding. Although doctors at Stanford University have said that this disease is treatable and possibly curable, it still hangs over our heads. Does anyone out there know about this disease or has been affected by it also?

Open Dizziness & Vertigo
I have passed out when having my blood drawn or from being in extreem pain all my life. Over the last few years, I have been experiencing dizzy spells that have not been brought on by anything of significance. I've gone to doctor after doctor- finally my cardiologist prescribed Midodrine which has really seemed to help. It constricts the blood vessels in my legs to increase circulation throughout the rest of my body. Has anyone out there experienced similar diagnosis/symptoms?
Treatments
- Midodrine Working / Worked
- Still have occassional spells, but not nearly as bad or often. No side effects.
