OK, so maybe Sunday wasn't the best day to weigh myself LOL I went to the Richmond Braves game on Friday. They won it 3-2 w00t! Oh happy day! AND, I had a family reunion on Saturday. I have tons of fat people in my family, and those fat people can cook their butts off. I ate so much, I felt like I was going to explode. I hadnt seen these people since I was like 5 years old, so we're talking almost 20 years ago. There were lots of "Who are you?" and "What's your name, again Hun?" There were so many cakes and pies and pastas and veggies, just YUMMY STUFF! Jeff ate 3 plates of food. I had one plate and a slice of banana nut cake with cream cheese icing. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven, seriously. I know it doesnt sound ike I ate a lot, but it's more than I normally do, and it kept me full for 9 hours. I have such a slow metabolism that one large meal will hold me all day. Makes it difficult when trying to lose weight. But, I had a few beers on Friday before and at the game, drank a beer on Saturday, and reluctantly weighed myself Sunday Morning.
I lost 3 lbs. NOT BAD! I'm kewl with it!! I totally expected to gain, I really did. I'm proud of myself...but then again, I would have been proud of myself if I simply hadn't gained anything at all.
I'll do better this week, and exercise more than I have been, and we'll see where it takes me!
