      Sexualy abused for 3 years as a child and raped by a co-worker on Aug. 18, 2003

      Rape Counseling Somewhat Helpful
      Was somewhat helpful when I went but can't afford to go back right now.

    • Close Eating Disorders
      Type: Anorexia

      Have had my eating disorder for 11 years now, been in a treatment place twice (worked while I was there), been hospitlized and all that jazz, done the therapy and medication nothing works still anorexic.

      Treatments

      Ativan Somewhat Helpful
      Worked for the anxiety after meals and at night.
      Depakote Not Working
      Made me sick
      Geodon Not Working
      Worst one yet. I passed out every time I stood up for 16 hours after taking it only once. I couldn't even make it to the bathroom to pee. It was horrible.
      Klonopin Somewhat Helpful
      Worked for the after meal anxiety and end of night freak outs.
      Lamictal Not Working
      All I did was sleep when on it.
      Lexapro Not Working
      Horible stomach cramps, thought I was dying.
      Paxil Not Working
      Hand shook so bad it looked like I was writing with a scribble pen.
      Prozac Not Working
      It made me to hyper and my doctor didn't like that I couldn't make myself sit down.
      Psychotherapy Somewhat Helpful
      It felt good to get stuff out but at the same time I was always trying to loose more weight to prove something to her I think. But can't afford therapy right now.
      Reglan Working / Worked
      It worked so good when I was in treatment to take the discomfort away.
      Support Groups Not Working
      The group I went to didn't work well for me.
      Zoloft Not Working
      Had to go to the hospital I was in so much pain on it.
      Zyprexa Not Working
      Made me so tired I couldn't get up in the morning. Gained to much weight to fast it was horrible. Made me so hungry that I would wake up 1 or 2 times every night and have to eat something or I couldn't sleep.

    • Open Self-Injury

      I've been cutting for 11 years now. I had over 2000 stiches and over 500 staples in one year alone. I had quit cutting for 16 months but recently found myself cutting again.

      Treatments

      Celexa Not Working
      Took it over a year and it never worked.
      Effexor Not Working
      Didn't work at all and when increased everything would turn red
      Elavil Not Working
      Didn't help at all.
      Klonopin Working / Worked
      Worked for the end of night freak outs.
      LDN - Low Dose Naltrexone Not Working
      Didn't seem to stop the urges at all.
      Remeron Not Working
      Couldn't wake up from it and felt foggy all day.
      Trazodone Working / Worked
      It worked well when I was younger but after a couple of years it just stoped working.
      Wellbutrin Not Working
      Didn't do a dam thing.

    • Open Migraine Headaches

      I got my first migrain in Oct. '06 and it's been hell ever since. When I get one they will be every day for a month or longer. My doctor can't explain them or make them stop. When they first started I use to pass out from the pain, now I've learned to live with pain.

      Treatments

      Inderal Too Soon to Tell
      Just started it on 8/31/07. Seems to have lessened the intensity and duration so far.
      Naproxen Not Working
      Didn't help at all.
      Tramadol Not Working
      Didn't help even a little bit.
      Oxycodone Working / Worked
      Is the one and ONLY med. that is make my migraines go away. It only lasts for about 2 hours though.
      Fiorinol Not Working
      Didn't even help a little.

    • Open Lesbian Relationship Challenges

      I've been out for about a year now but have a hard time finding someone.

    • Open ADHD / ADD

      Had it since childhood and it's followed me into adulthood.

      Treatments

      Adderall Working / Worked
      Works great but dr. won't let me have it when weight gets to low.

    • Open Hyperthyroidism

      Was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism back in March of ‘08. On June 3rd, ‘08 is was discovered that my thyroid is now enlarged.

    • Open Graves' Disease

      Was just told I have Graves and looking for more info.
