Yeah! Day 2 of quit. After 22 years, I am surprised and confident.
I have replaced smoking with a hopeful new addiction. …
I love to garden. I am a 5 year, stage 3, ovarian cancer survivor. I have a wonderful husband who cares about me. I am quitting for me, for him and for us. I smoked for 22 years about a pack per day.

Please keep up the good work! xx
Thank you. And it was my grandfather, not my father. But all is well, thank you.
The few drags was the experiment to see if what others were saying about it takes horrible if you ever try it again. I am still not hooked though. The cravings are still there from time to time but the Chantix and deep breathing for me works wonders!! One week, four days, 6 hours, 9 minutes and 43 seconds. 168 cigarettes not smoked, saving $29.55. Life saved: 14 hours, 0 minutes.

Welcome and congratulations on Day 1. Today is Day 60 for me - also did cold turkey like you are doing. If I can do it, anybody can do it.
I am 40 years old and have been smoking since I was about 15. I am a 5 year, stage 3 ovarian cancer survivor and MUST quit. I loathe my smoking habit. I despise myself as a smoker. I love and accept everything about myself except for this trait. I just had my last cigarette and am going "cold-turkey"....with my chantix!
I am afraid of developing lung cancer. I am 5 years cancer free from stage 3 ovarian cancer and have smoked for the past 22 years.
