    • Close Endometriosis

I have always had heavy and painful periods, however I started having constant pain, 24/7 a couple years ago and have since had a laporoscopy, and I am on my second course of Lupron (I don't do well on birth control).

      Treatments

      Surgery Somewhat Helpful
I was pain free for a couple of months, however the pain came back.
      Lupron Working / Worked
The side effects (nausea, weight gain, and hot flashes) were not fun but much better than the pain. Endo returned a few months afterwards, however.
    • Close Healthy Relationships

Our marriage is is good for the most part, however we have had some issues that we are working on.

      Treatments

Couples Counseling Too Soon to Tell
We finally decided to go to counseling...we will start next week.
      Patience Somewhat Helpful
Good to a certain extent, unfortunately it has led to holding in issues sometimes until we burst.
      Talking Working / Worked
It's helped us figure out where some of our issues are and where to start working from.
      Writing Working / Worked
We have written to each other which has at least gotten some of our issues out.
    • Open Sleep Apnea

My new eye doctor discovered that I had low tension glaucoma, and with no family history, had me tested for sleep apnea. I did a sleep study and was diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea, due to my jaw structure.

      Treatments

      CPAP Working / Worked
Love, love, love my cpap! I use a nose/mouth mask, as I breath through my mouth sometimes, and it has made my life so much better. Yes, a bit annoying to have to deal with EVERY night, but compared to how I felt before, I am in love!
    • Open Trigeminal Neuralgia

I am just now exploring the possibility that some nerve issues that cropped up after MMA surgery may actually be TN.
