      Hi there, the story is a long one. Wife and I are back together again and everything is going well. Big problem is that her leaving me triggered all these issues from my mom's suicide more than 20 years ago and I don't know how to deal with them. Are you and your man still together?

      updated 12/28/07; i am still breathing. we are "working" on it...very very slow...like a snail slow. i don't know how this will turn out...but i do know..no matter what - I WILL BE JUST FINE!!! i have learned so much about myself. i like me again.

      i am trying..there are lingering scabs..i'm trying to learn not to pick at them & make it bleed...yuk

      i can love my music again - i can make my own music again...it's nice to be me again.

      my pit bull is my best friend. she & I are very bonded and i am unsure what i would do without her.
      Psychotherapy Considering
      i'm considering it. i probably need it now more than ever...
      Reading Working / Worked
      a book called "why relationships end and how to handle the ending of yours"...it gave me a lot of good information. and she doesn't speak over your head. also "the prayer of jabez", "get out of that pit" by beth moore. the more i read, the more i learn, the better i become.
      Support from Friends & Family Somewhat Helpful
      they helped at the beginning. now i need to deal with it more on my own.

      depends on who i talk to! talking to the friends i've found on this site has been a great benefit.
      Time Somewhat Helpful
      i guess the old saying is true...time heals...i'm not completely healed yet, but it is getting better - i am learning to trust myself again. learning to lean on God and trust Him

      unbelieveably helpful..the best medicine i've found. can say what you want, when you want, how you want.
