Hey Carrie! How did the week go diet wise? I did really well on the exercise, but only so-so on the diet. I went to dinner with a friend and then I ate a bunch at a breakfast meeting at work. Ugh! As of today, I'm up a pound for the week. I'll record tomorrow, so I still have a chance-slim chance because I'm going to a party tonight. Oh well...

Big hugs for a successful weigh in for both of us!!

Silly me set a weight loss goal for the holidays! In truth I would love to NOT gain over that time. Sweets are my downfall. I've never been able to pass up a cookie!

I'd like to talk to you more about supplements. I take them...but more or less randomly, with no clear plan as to why I take each thing.

Have a great Monday (ugh!). At least I'm going to work in the day light for a while!

Hi Carrie...I'm your November diet buddy! I look forward to getting to know you. What are your goals and what do you need support/reminders about?

I'm trying to lose 20-30lbs...I've already lost about that amout over the course of a year. I did it by eating healthy (small changes over time) and working out. It's been a slow process! I don't have an end weight or size in mind--I'm just trying to be healthy and look/feel my best.

Hi all, I am a married mom of 2 and have had FM/chronic pain for 23 years. I hope to get some ideas on dealing with FM as well as offer support to those here that do. I live in Saskatchewan, Canada.

      Treatments

      Melatonin Working / Worked
I take 3 to 6 mgs a night. Wouldnt be able to sleep without it.
      5-HTP Working / Worked
Working great. I take it along with liquid calcium, magnesium, vitamin D.
      Aqua Therapy Working / Worked
      Love hot tubs and jets!
      Elavil Not Working
Dreadful, dreadful stuff. Never again! Gained 80lbs in one year!
      Massage Working / Worked
Hubby helps give me a trigger point massage every night.
      Neurontin Not Working
Horrible side effects, drowsiness and brain fog.
      Osteopathy Working / Worked
Extremely helpful. Eliminated most of my hip and sciatic pain. Less pain on my shoulder rib but it keeps coming out of place.
      Reflexology Working / Worked
Helps with nerve pain on my feet, emotional wellbeing and overall aches.
      Vitamin B12 Working / Worked
Absolutely, 100% the only thing that has worked fully for me. I only wish I had this checked years ago.
      Naltrexone Working / Worked
Is really starting to work good. Less pain and more energy. The more I read about this, the better I like it!
