In addition to FM I have PTSD and depression. DDD, osteoporosis, herniated disk, myositis. And a inherited eye desease requiring cornea transplant. Mother of 6 children all grown :) Lots of grandchildren and soon to be a great grandma.

Interests
I love crafts and had my own wholesale jewlery business for about 15 years. I did mostly handmade beaded earring but did other pieces as well..such as barrettes. Also made lots of red willow Dream Catchers as they were in demand and loved to make them. Most of my work was sold in stores. Was lots of fun..

well.. its 2:30am.. and Im going to try and sleep.. uhg.. thought i would send you a quick hug... yes got vista loaded again.. hubby is getting me a whole different computer so will have to go through this process again. uhg. but this one is faster.. so.. im glad bout that.. so I will check in when I get this new one all ready to go.. wow.. been hurting like a bugger.. as you see.. no sleep.. zzzzzzzzzz.. hugs. :)

I had been doc. for several years for my back and neck issues. Couple years ago seeing a neurosurgeon he felt I needed to see a rhuematologist. I went to my regular doc. and he felt I had Fibro and had probably had it for years. he sent me to a rheumatologist who also felt that I had it. But she also found that I had a Vit D deficency and started me on D supplements. Since then was dx again by another rhuematologis agreeing with the rest and another doc. Opps out of room ...
Treatments
- Cyclobenzaprine Not Working
- feel no difference in the pain. Years back when took it for my back seemed maybe to work somewhat.
- Cymbalta Not Working
- made me sick to my stomach
- Elavil Not Working
- low dose gave me nightmares bad !!!!
- Heat Not Working
- feels good but does not do anything for the pain
- Neurontin Working / Worked
- side affects
- TENS Not Working
- STims machine... very little if any help and does not last if it does. really sensitive to the numbers can not go past 1 or get dizzy and don't feel right
- Ultram Somewhat Helpful
- no longer taking was given to me for my back several years back ... helped some but made me sick to my stomach
